Mendoza (Argentina) is the land of wines that the Most Festival visits this year 2024. And it does so with the help of two entities that sum up the spirit of our festival, Fondo Vitivinícola de Mendoza and the cinephile Mendoza Film Commission. We will enjoy a selection of audiovisual works that look at the reality of the wine of this land with a long winemaking tradition, at the same time that we will be able to discover the most contemporary Argentinian cinematography that takes Mendoza as its main geographical framework.
The Gala of the guest country will have a double main course, we will present the Most Honorary Award 2024 to the career of Matías Michelini, winemaker with a nonconformist and revolutionary spirit, and soul of one of the wineries that are the vanguard of Latin American wine, Sitio La Estocada .
At the end of the session, in Plaça de Jaume I, we will celebrate this twinning with the most popular Argentinian food: the asado. All well washed down with the Mendoza wines that will arrive for the occasion.
Catalonia, Penedès, and Mendoza join hands across the Most to jointly celebrate a culture, that of wine, which unites us and links us to remote landscapes as spectacular as the Andes.
