Galicia, guest region of the ninth Most
This year, Most invites the public to discover Galicia’s cultural and wine-making richness, through a sample of its cinema, wines and gastronomy.
The festival hosts Oliver Laxe’s film screening, Jury Prize winner at the Cannes Film Festival of Un certain regard, with the presence of the film critic and its proponent from the UPF, Jordi Balló.
There will also be a selection of short films representing the X Mostra de Cinema Periférico (S8) with the presence of its directors Ana González and Ángel Rueda; screenings of Trinta Lumes by Diana Toucedo, with the presence of the director and some of the technical team; and a special session of Collita section with “El despertar del vino en Galicia; The return to the terroir’ by Pablo Alonso with the presence of both its directors and some of the protagonists.
El Most also offers a tasting of Galician wines by Xoán Cannas, Galician sommelier, Nas de OR 2004, and director of the Galician Wine Institute. The VINSEUM Chapel will host the tasting, inviting you to discover the great range of wines from Galician terrains and their denominations (Monterrei, Rias Baixas, Ribeiro, Ribeira Sacra and Valdeorras).
